Cephas is an Indian-born British composer writing music for contemplation, film & media. He combines atmospheric textures and analog piano melodies to create sounds that suspend emotions with a new clarity. After a higher education in Music Theology & The Arts, Cephas went on to write for picture, working on award winning films - notably WRANGLER , voted “Audience Choice” at Lift-Off Global 2021 & “Best Female Director” at Cannes World Film Festival 2021 and A DARK MIND which earned screenings at Genesis Cinema and SouthBank Centre. He has also scored commercial projects for Puma, Soho House and Expedia. Cephas, as an artist, releases ambient-classical-crossover music through Anjunadeep’s Reflections label.
